İsmail Soyberk

İsmail Soyberk (born 1954, Istanbul, Turkey) is a musician, and particularly a bass guitarist.

Soyberk started his musical career in 1977. He graduated from Kocaeli Üniversitesi, where he had been studying, electrical engineering. He has been playing as a session musician since 1982, and has toured with musicians such as Sezen Aksu, Joan Baez, Aziza Mustafa Zadeh, Erkan Oğur, Hasan Cihat Örter, Osman İşmen, Turhan Yükseler and many more.

In 2006, Fenomen, his own band, released an album in Turkey. He was a member of "Dostlar", which was Edip Akbayram's group. He also is currently member of Yeni Türkü.^[1]
